The free version is a full working copy of CMS 4.60 including the ability to support multiple companies on either a single system or a network with multiple users. The difference between the CMS Free version and the current CMS version 4.70 is the current version has extra data fields in the master files and can automatically print to any Windows printer using the CMS Printer Agent program. The CMS Free version can also use the CMS Printer Agent for most reports but not all of them and the printing is not handled automatically by the agent as it is in CMS 4.70. For users of the CMS Free version, the CMS Printer Agent can be purchased separately but is not required. Without the CMS Printer Agent the CMS Free Version can print to any printer that can be connected to a PC's parallel port as well as many network laser printers.
